Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Creator Pipe website, product, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, or by creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Creator Pipe lets you create a public pipe page and hold private, one-to-one conversations with other users. Fans can attach a monetary “bounty” to a question; the creator may answer it and, when the work is done, the bounty is paid out to the creator.

The Service is provided for eligible users and for lawful purposes. You are responsible for any content you post and for the bounties you place on questions.

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or of legal age in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation;
• Infringe the rights of others (including intellectual property and privacy);
• Send spam, deceptive content, or unsolicited messages;
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Post malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Encourage or facilitate illegal activity, including fraud or financial harm.

A bounty is a monetary amount a fan attaches to a question to incentivize an answer. Key points:

• By placing a bounty you authorize the associated payment for the linked question.
• Bounties are paid to the creator when the question is answered to the satisfaction of the parties, as described in the Service.
• Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not control or guarantee the timing, availability, or success of payouts.
• Fees, if any, charged by the payment provider or us are disclosed at the time a bounty is placed.
• Bounties are generally non-refundable once committed to a question, except where required by law or where the creator does not respond.

By using the bounty feature you agree to these rules and to all applicable payment-provider terms.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for your content, including its accuracy, legality, and respect for the rights of others.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Creator Pipe and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our consent.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creator Pipe and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or to the maximum permitted by law, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Creator Pipe, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for a breach of these Terms or for conduct we consider harmful. You may also stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and use reasonable efforts to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.
